Since inception in 2008, the Puget Sound Coalition for College and Career Readiness has achieved several significant accomplishments including:

  • Establish shared values, goals, and built the foundation for strategic systems change
  • Enabled learning and relationship building across district and college boundaries at the superintendent and president levels
  • Created the Puget Sound Coalition for College and Career Readiness Compact, outlining shared commitments across K–12 and higher education
  • Developed and advocated around a regional college and career readiness and success framework, which developed into the King County Promise
  • Developed collective priorities and support for regional campaigns including financial aid completion and College Bound Scholarship sign-ups
  • Partnering with the PSCCN Steering Committee, creating space for a broad range of leadership to engage collectively on priority issues
  • Prioritized and continues to deepen practice around increasing racial equity as a region
