At PSESD, we know that the success of our students balances on the structures of support that are built in our schools. Though recent efforts have been made to expand opportunities for continued learning after high school, inequities persist in our schools that contribute to opportunity gaps and prevent many students from realizing their college and career goals.
Implementing individual changes in our schools is simply not enough. To achieve student success, we must invest in integrated college and career advising curricula, additional school staff to provide equitable student support, and simplification of the financial aid process.
