As we collectively navigate the impacts of COVID-19 and this period of uncertainty, PSCCN is committed to our roles of supporting you and your institutions, and most importantly our students whose need for postsecondary access and success will persist beyond the challenges we face today. We know that students of color, students impacted by poverty, and students who are first-generation are often furthest from educational justice and are hit hardest in times like these.
PSCCN has compiled resources and recommendations to support you. Here are a few of our top recommendations:
- PSCCN Emergent Resources & Recommendations: Locally sourced expertise and strategies from across King & Pierce County, developed out of the 200+ educators who have contributed to recent strategy calls.
- Essential actions to keep students on track to postsecondary success: A detailed, step-by-step guide to provide postsecondary support to students at this time. Interested in implementing these strategies with support from PSCCN? Contact us about our new College Transition workgroup.
- NCAN's curated roundup, including lists of useful articles, webinars, sample student communications, and more.
We appreciate your resilience and creativity as we work in new and different ways, including forming new partnerships, using technology in new ways, and collaborating with colleagues to provide cohesive support to students. Thank you! Be sure to check out our upcoming convening for community-based organizations – we want to hear from you! Details below.
