Washington Education Research Association Conference Spotlights Racial Equity and Continuous Improvement on 12/11-13

We are really excited about this year’s line-up that addresses a wide range of topics that speak to our theme, Taking Action to Reduce Opportunity Gaps: Putting Research into Practice.  Join us to hear from keynote speakers Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum and  Dr. Juli Coleman.  Dr. Tatum is the author of the bestselling book, Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria? And Other Conversations about Race and president emerita of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.  Dr. Coleman serves as Deputy Chief of Improvement of the CORE Districts.  Both conference workshops and sessions address college and career readiness, including an all-day AVID workshop, dual credit, ethnic studies and implementation of HB 1599 Multiple Pathways to Graduation.

Register here to reserve your spot to engage in over 90 sessions. We recently posted the preliminary conference program
