Program Model
King County Promise (KCP) is a cross-sector collaborative partnership among select K-12 Districts, Community & Technical Colleges (CTCs), and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in King County. With an 18 year investment from the Puget Sound Taxpayer Accountability Account (PSTAA), implementation of KCP will be phased over this time adding additional partnerships until fully scaled across King County. During the initial phase of implementation KCP includes two distinct partnerships with unique programmatic highlights, and target population.

King County Promise Milestones
The KCP Program Model centers on ensuring that prioritized high school students, Opportunity Youth, and CTC students are provided holistic and comprehensive postsecondary advising to support attainment of a postsecondary credential. The KCP Model relies on Promise Partnerships strengthening alignment and collaboration across K-12 Districts/high schools, CBOs, and CTCs to support students through the milestones outlined below. Promise Partners will co-design and implement a KCP service delivery plans aligned with existing postsecondary strategies, to support their prioritized student populations.
